Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Posted 25th April 2024

As part of their Science topic, Year 1 went on a wild adventure to visit the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster. Children took part in workshops where they learnt about a variety of things linked to animals and their habitats. The rest of the day was spent looking around the park and spotting as many animals as possible. Children managed to catch a glimpse of polar bears, sea lions, zebras, giraffes, red pandas and the elusive snow leopard! Staff and children had a fantastic day learning lots of new facts and enjoying time together as a year group.
