School Improvement

At Saltergate, we are always working to learn, grow and improve. This applies to every member of the school community as an individual and also to the Saltergate family as a whole.

Our journey to improve is collaborative one. We work as a team, gathering the views of governors, staff, parents and of course, our pupils. For pupils, this voice is heard through School Council, Reading Ambassadors, Maths Mentors and other groups which consider environmental issues, mental health and other areas of school life.

Governors meet regularly with senior leaders and staff throughout our school structure, to support and challenge us in our work. Within the Trust, we work with colleagues to learn from their specialisms and to ask their advice; this includes the Executive Team and staff in other Trust schools.
