Kids Club
Saltergate Kid's Club is a privately run before and after school childcare provision, situated in a dedicated room within the Junior School. We have been on site since 1994 providing reliable, safe and affordable childcare for children in Reception and up to Year 6.
The provision is Ofsted registered.
We are fortunate that some of our staff employed by the club also work in the school. This is excellent as when the children come to us, they already know a familiar face, making settling in much easier.
The aim of the club is to provide a relaxing, happy atmosphere before and after school. Toast, cereal and fruit are provided every morning. This helps the children to be ready for their day at school and prepares them for some fantastic learning.
The children are provided with a small healthy snack to keep them going until hometime. This could be sandwiches/wraps, vegetable sticks, cheese and crackers, teacakes; fruit is always available throughout the session.
After school, the children can just chill watching a DVD, drawing, doing craft activities or taking part in outdoor fun.
