Enhancing IT and EdTech Across the Trust
This year we have partnered with TransforMATive to drive forward a comprehensive digital transformation focused on enhancing our technology strategy and IT service delivery. Central to this effort was a Strategic IT Service Review, designed to evaluate the efficiency, effectiveness, and value of our current IT model in alignment with the Trust’s objectives. This review explored alternative service models and cost structures to optimise the technology infrastructure and end-user devices across our schools.
To ensure a collaborative approach, a series of stakeholder engagements involving school leadership, operations, and IT teams took place in March 2025, gathering vital insights to inform the review.
Working alongside this, we have also launched a dedicated Education Technology (EdTech) Workstream to deepen our focus on digital learning. Starting with a self-assessment survey completed by senior leaders from each school, the initiative is assessing areas such as digital leadership, curriculum development, teaching and learning, technology infrastructure, and professional development. An EdTech Working Group will guide the development of an action plan, governance frameworks, and share best practices, including exploring the role of AI in education through case studies and site visits to other forward-thinking Multi-Academy Trusts.
These initiatives mark a significant step in embedding innovation and digital excellence across the Trust to enhance learning outcomes and operational effectiveness.
