We Promote Wellbeing

At Red Kite Learning Trust, the wellbeing of our colleagues remains a core priority. We know that when our people feel supported, valued, and heard, everyone benefits: our teams, our schools, and most importantly, our children.

Our Focus

This year we have focused on strengthening our culture of care and collaboration, ensuring wellbeing and colleague voice is at the core of our Trust. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to creating a thriving, inclusive workplace where wellbeing is promoted

Highlights

Prioritising Wellbeing with our MHFA Network

With 150 trained Mental Health First Aiders across the Trust, we're building a strong support network that keeps wellbeing front and centre, ensuring colleagues can access support at any time across our Trust.

Empowering Colleague Voice

Since 2022, our People Board has brought together representatives from across our Trust to champion wellbeing, developing recognition, supervision and shaping our people strategy, while promoting colleague voice and ensuring continuous improvement to our employee experience.

Listening to Our People

Each year, we invite colleagues to take part in an annual Trust survey, gathering feedback on wellbeing, culture and employee experience.  Listening to our colleagues enables us to respond to feedback, understand what’s working well and identify opportunities to develop.
