The PE Department at Crawshaw Academy continues to be a beacon following the re accrediation of AfPEs Quality Mark in Physical Education. Not only have both teams and individuals excelled in extra-curricular activities but the sports leaders have continued to run activities for the local primary schools in conjunction with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation as well as running the West Leeds Primary Olympics at John Charles Centre for Sport. One of the highlights of the year was the Year 11 Rugby League team beating Ralph Thoresby in the final of the Leeds and Hunslet Cup Final.

Their sportsmanship was outstanding, too. Special mention to Miss Fran Bakes for all her top coaching and preparation; Mr Drew Morley for accompanying the boys to the finals and all the children's parents who have been brilliant supporters.
