Over the past year, we have continued to use our scale and expertise to provide high-impact HR support across our schools, building capability, encouraging collaboration, and promoting positive working environments.

We have expanded our capacity to lead and deliver meaningful structural and cultural change, focusing on creating the conditions where colleagues and pupils can thrive.

Supporting School Improvement

At Rossett School, we’ve provided sustained support over two years to strengthen school improvement, contributing to their recent ‘Good’ in all areas Ofsted outcome. This has included a full structural review delivered in three carefully managed phases, focused on enhancing colleague capability, capacity, and wellbeing. Our team of people professionals have ensured the process was both supportive and legally compliant, helping to minimise risk and disruption. We’ve also provided post-review support to embed changes, using central capacity to help new structures bed in confidently.

Successful Onboarding of New Schools

At Saltergate Schools, we played a key role in supporting the successful and seamless transition of both schools into the Trust. This involved the careful planning and delivery of a robust, well-structured induction programme designed to welcome and integrate all colleagues into our shared values, culture, and ways of working. The induction focused not only on essential operational systems and policies, but also on building strong relationships and fostering a sense of belonging from day one. By ensuring a consistent and high-quality employee experience from the outset, we helped lay the foundations for long-term collaboration, colleague wellbeing, and continued excellence in teaching and learning across both schools.

Improving our Single Central Register

We have also made significant strides in improving Single Central Register (SCR) practices across the Trust. Our support for schools ahead of Ofsted inspections has led to 100% compliance outcomes at Colton Primary, Crawshaw Academy, Oatlands Juniors, and Rossett School, with no recommendations or areas of concern. Through streamlined processes, safer recruitment training, and hands-on guidance, we’ve strengthened our safeguarding culture and built lasting capability in every setting.

These examples highlight how we are using our collective strength to deliver better outcomes, nurture staff wellbeing, and ensure all our schools are equipped to grow and succeed.
