Strengthening Leadership at Crawshaw

In January this year, Crawshaw Academy began an exciting new chapter with the appointment of Mr Iain Addison as Headteacher from January 2025. Previously the Deputy Head and Designated Safeguarding Lead at St Aidan’s in Harrogate, Mr Addison brings extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to school improvement.

His appointment marks a key milestone in the Trust’s wider programme to strengthen leadership and raise standards at Crawshaw Academy. This year also saw the arrival of Mrs Kayleigh Cuddy as Deputy Headteacher from Temple Moor High School and Mr James Wilkinson as Assistant Headteacher from Ashville College. Together, this refreshed leadership team brings renewed energy and expertise to drive lasting, positive change across the school.
