Dear Parents,
Welcome back, I hope you all had a restful half term.
Thank you for your donations towards the Turkey-Syria earthquake appeal on Friday before half term. We collected £250 which we have passed on the appeal.
World Book Day at Coppice Valley is next week on Wednesday 1st March.
We are using the book, The Word Collector, as a stimulus for dressing up as a word. You can make your outfit as simple or complex as you like. You could come as the word “blue” by wearing all the same colour or the word “school” in your uniform. If you really want to go for it with your outfit, there are lots of ideas on online and photos on our social media to inspire you.
Teacher Strikes 28th February
Coppice Valley will be open as normal. All pupils are expected to attend school on this day.
March 17th is Comic Relief Day
More information to come over the next weeks about how we will be celebrating the day. There will be opportunity to donate online via your ParentPay accounts, if you would like to.
