Red Kite Teacher Training is an outstanding school-based provider of initial teacher training in North and West Yorkshire. We prepare confident, skilled, evidence-informed teachers who make a real difference to children’s learning and lives. In partnership with schools and the University of Leeds, we offer a range of pathways into teaching, including postgraduate, undergraduate and apprenticeship routes, that give trainees the knowledge, classroom experience and professional skills needed to thrive in the profession.
Trainees experience high-quality training underpinned by well-chosen age and subject specific practice. They benefit from training that is intelligently aligned across the centre and placement schools. For example, mentors help trainees deepen their understanding of central training on early reading in their evolving classroom practice.
